Storage of blue-topped transcriptomics blood tubes

Is it ok to store these tubes at -20 instead of -80.  We have put our tubes in the -20 freezer but they are not freezing. They are going to be used for proteomics at a future date. Am I wasting my time collecting these samples or will they be ok?  The protocol I am working to is very vague as to what happens to them down the line.
