I'm trying to shear chromatin isolated from mouse splenocytes (with little success).  Recently found a protocol that suggested using only 1x10^6 cells per 1mL lysis buffer, as the chromatin is difficult to shear.  If I try this, is there a way to concentrate the chromatin prior using it as the substrate for an IP?  A product search came up with the "ChIP DNA (PCR) clean-up and concentrate" kit by Zymogen, but I'm concerned that it won't work well on cross-linked chromatin from the product info.

Thanks!
