Hello,
I was wondering if anybody could tell me about how to detect the level of the metal Tungsten in a bacterial broth culture through Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. I am actually trying to figure out whether my isolated bacteria accumulate W or not, for which I plan on inoculating my bacteria in a broth culture (minimal media M9 or LB) containing a pre-determined concentration of W. Then I wish to compare the level of the metal still present in the inoculated broth with uninoculated broth (control) after 24 and 72 hours.
I also wanted to know how to prepare a biological sample for AAS.
Actually it would be great if anybody could suggest me if I'm going about it in the correct manner or not.
Hoping to hear from you all soon!
