Hello,
Im trying to measure (reasonably accuratly) how much salt we have in an algae culture we have. Obviously there are other constituents in the medium as well. Does anyone know of some salt assay we can do ???
Best regards,
CJ

determine conductivity and compare to a standard curve prepared in tha same medium (minus the salt) as your sample.
ps- no need to double post, we look at more than one forum for new posts.

Don't you have the recipe of the medium?
In any case, conductivity will be the most accurate and fast method.
