Hallo everyone!

You may think that I am lazy with this question but that's make me a little bit confused. Probably someone has worked or heard about U-937 cells. ATCC says that U-937 is a lymphocyte while several (I mean all of them) describle as Monocyte cells.
So here's my doubt: are U-937 cells Lymphocytes or Monocytes?
In comparasion between cell lines are quite strange but in terms of being from the same lineage could I say that U-937 cells and THP1 are both monocytes and ''Similar''?

I would really appreciate people who works with these cells

Thanks in advance.
