Me and my collegues had a discussion concerning the use of UV light under a laminar flow hood (of biosafety cabinet).  We were wondering if it is safe to put on both the UV and the blower at the same time or if it is not safe to do that.  We could not find any litterature on the subject.

I couldn't see anything harzardous having UV and blower on at the same time. What is your concern?
