Can anyone recommend available inhibitors for cell culture? In particular I'm trying to find:

  • DNA demethylation agent (I'm thinking 5-azacytidine)
  • HDACi (maybe Vorinostat?)
  • HAT inhibitor
  • Histone demethylase inhibitor

If anyone has experience with any commercially-available products, I'd love to get some input. We want to pinpoint the mechanism of expression for our gene of interest -- it doesn't look like DNA methylation levels change (but we're going to try 5-azacytidine just to be sure) so I'm thinking it's a histone modification. I want to use inhibitors to show what will keep the gene from being expressed. Really hoping that these are all available through vendors and I'm just inept at tracking them down blink.png
