Hi, I'm performing a qPCR to detemine the copy number of a GOI in CHO cells. I`m doing absolute quantification and the standard curve is a serial dilution of a plasmid containing the GOI.

When I do the maths, calculating the copy number from the Ct of the sample (genomic DNA) from the regression line of the standard curve, the result is very very high. So my question is how is the correct way of calculating the copy number of GOI in eucariotic cells (CHO).

Thanks

Danu
