Hey guys,

I plan to multiplex 20 samples using the Illumina TruSeq ChIP sample prep kit. Kit A (~ $ 2500) contains adapters for 12 samples, and kit B contains the other 12. However I woud like to make the adapters of kit B myself, as I do not want to spend another $ 2500 on kit B, because I do not need so many samples (both kit would be yielding 96 library preps). Illumina has also published the sequences of their adapters, but I am a little worried of some modifications their adapters potentially have. Has anyone ever made such adapters himself? And how is your experience?

Many thanks for your help!
