I am wondering if anyone has had successful RIPs using mammalian cells stored at -80? I currently have crosslinked, washed, pelleted cells at -80, but they have been there for 2 years. They have not been lysed yet. I would love to use them in future RIPs. Do you think it's worth trying?

Also, could anyone recommend of a good RIP kit that's available?
