Hi,
I need to procure some oxLDL (testing endothelial cells for inflammatory responses) -- i know that it is possible to make it from LDL but i am not sure about the best protocol to use. Being lazy, i would prefer to buy it, but don't know which one is best to buy. Many groups indicate that they isolate LDL themselves. (My PhD mentor has volunteered to donate all of his blood.) Cayman sells components of oxLDL -- 9- and 13-HODE, as well as azelaoyl PAF, butanoyl PAF. Do people use just one of those and call it oxLDL?
thank you for your help,
christine,
