Hi

My fraction volumes are 500 microlitres. I like to dialyse the samples for different pH and then concentrate for my assay. Are there any dialysis apparatus available for small volumes.

Thankyou.

The Slide-A-Lyzer Dialysis Cassettes from Pierce Chemical Company have a wide range of capacity. I remeber they have 0.1-0.5ml capacity ones. Check it and good luck!

The slide-a-lyzer is an excellent suggestion. But it depends on what part of the world you are in - Pierce products often get delayed in overseas shipment. Try this home made alternative. Clip the lid of an eppendoff tube and add your sample to it. Tie a small piece of dialysis membrane to the microcontainer or clip the top edge of the tube to make a clamp out of it. Make sure there are no leaks, drop it in the dialysis beaker. Repeat with as many samples as you wish. Don't forget to label these little guys!

Good luck
