I had ordered several nude mice to develop a cancer subcutaneous xenograft model.

The mice were bought when there were just under three weeks old, weighing about 7g. Its been 7 weeks and they only weigh between 8-10g and have not increaed in size. I've read that mice have to be about 12g to perform subcutaneous injection. But I'm just afraid that waiting for them to reach 12g would make them too old for subcutanous injection? Any opnions would be appreiated.

Regards
