I am isolating viral mRNAs for a RT-PCR experiment. The issue I am having stems from a limited amount of streptavidin coated magnetic particles (that are provided in the Roche mRNA isolation kit) as the kit only contains 1.7ml. I cannot reuse the magnetic particles, for contamination risks, and I am left with leftover reagents which I have no use for unless I have more magnetic particles.

My question is: Does anyone know where I can purchase streptavidin coated magnetic particles at a reasonable price?
(preferably in volumes greater than 1ml)

Thanks!
