Hello,

I am currently doing my research on caffeine-degrading bacteria from coffee. Since HPLC is currently not availabe in my laboratory, so I decided to use GC-MS in order to confirm the presence of caffeine and theobromine in my sample. To get the sample for GC-MS, I culture the caffeine-degrading bacteria in different concentration of caffeine liquid media and let it 24 hours in incubator shaker. After 24 hours I will proceed with sample preparation for GC-MS. However, I'm not sure about the method for sample preparation. Can anyone suggest me any related journals about sample preparation and overall method of GC-MS? I found it difficult in searching the journals. Thank you :)
