Hi Everyone-

I have a quick question. Using the sucrose gradient method on homogenized mouse pancreatic cells, I am trying to quantify the membrane-bound GLUT2 expression in beta cells. however, there is something that worries me. knowing that glut2 - when not expressed on the membrane - is in vesicles in cytosol, i am afraid that this method will fail to distinguish whats expressed on the membrane vs cytosol (vesicle). do you guys have any suggestion on how to measure the expression of glut2 on membrane and membrane only? Thank you!
