Hello,
I am developing a new low-cost qPCR machine. I am trying to determine what the dynamic range and resolution of the fluorescence detection (NOT the overall molecular detection dynamic range) should be, as well as what noise levels are acceptable for when no signal is present. Can anyone shed any light on how important these factors are in the overall qPCR picture, or what performance their instrument gives in this regard?
