I need to run membrane proteins on 2D...I isolated the membrane proteins from Thermo Scientific kit and purified them by methanol chloroform extraction and resuspended in rehydration buffer stock containing Urea,CHAPS and bromophenol blue. From this i will use the working rehydration buffer containing ampholytes and DTT for rehydration overnight. Is this okay?
I need the IEF program for membrane proteins also give me suggestions to start 2D electrophoresis....

you can get a lot of information from the handbook on 2d electrophoresis that you can download from this ge healthcare lifesciences webpage (as well as other useful handbooks).
