Dear Fellows
I am using monoclonal anti amyloid beta anitibody for amyloid beta detection in C. elegans. After running gel/ western it gives band at 43 KDa, however studies showed that this band should be at 4-20 kDa. Please advise me what to do? Secondly I am not getting 4 KDa band although I used 15% SDS gel

amyloid beta (especially 1-42) readily aggregates. you may be detecting that or you may be detecting amyloid precursor protein.
for 4kDa, i would use tris-tricine (shagger & von jagow) page.
