Hello everybody!

I'm working with pWPI vector and I want to prepare a glicerolate stock of transformed bacteria.
Which cells is better to use?
I transformed in XL10gold with terrible results (from miniprep i obtained only 9ng/ul DNA conc.)
Can depend on the size of the vector (11kb)?
Is it possible that some bacteria are not accepting big vectors? if yes, which bacteria are accepting big vectors?
I'm really new on transformation topic...
