suppose I have two curves which partailly overlap: How can I calculate the degree of overlapping below the curves? I prefer to work with Sigmaplot but any solution is highly welcome

Not sure but I think if you take the equations for area under the curve and solve simultaneously that would give you the solution... however, I am definitely not a mathematician.
