Hi everyone, I have a quick question about SYBR Green. I am looking to buy some SYBR Green dye that is NOT in a master mix. I just need the concentrated dye. I have tried various suppliers but cannot find any. Distributors in the UK are preferred.

Sigma Aldrich for example. Not sure if this one is also suitable for qPCR though. But you can ask them.
Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.

Invitrogen/Life Tecnologies also sell it (example only, there are many others stocked).

Thanks for the replies. Turns out the gel stain can be used in qPCR.
