hi everyone,
i am trying to create a stable transfection in MDA-MB-231 cells with G418. I haven't done LC50 with G418 on MDA-MB-231, but i thought i would ask what would be a good starting concentration. I have read that 1500mcg/ml is appropriate, but it seems quite high. what do you guys think?
my best,

What you should do is have a look through the literature, there is bound to be someone who has done this before. You should then take the value you found and do a titration above and below that value to see if it works for your particular cells.
