In honour of bioforum’s change of avatar, we can’t help but ask- so where’s the Panda now? :P

Thats a very unsettling picture.

Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.

Very artful pictures !!

Il dort. Quoique le sort fût pour lui bien étrange,
Il vivait. Il mourut quand il n'eut plus son ange;
La chose simplement d'elle-même arriva,
Comme la nuit se fait lorsque le jour s'en va.

Too many fractal eyes and distorted faces for me.

that's why you wanna save them- the Panda, the Yangtze.......it sends a strong message (hence, the ad/art is quite effective....)

Yes, but the message is not for saving pandas, but that there are demonic undead panda-monsters in every shape and shadow around you and are all after you ;)

well they look like skulls somehow, but I think this is desired as it's from the save the panda campaign, and a bit shocking and dead pandas might awake people more (a least this is my interpretation of these posters) Posted Image

I look at it two ways- if all we see are dead and dying pandas, perhaps we might be compelled to save them (prevent them from dying or being dead).....or if all we see are undead and monstrous pandas, with a bit twist of imagination, we can liken them to Dickens Ghost of Christmas past.....a grim reminder for us to repent our panda (nature)-killing ways or else, they'd come back to haunt us...or unleash their evil/revenge upon us...:D
