Hi,
I have been transfecting vectors containig several repeats of AP-1 transcription factor binding sites into Hela cells. The activity is measured using dual luciferase assay, thereby a luciferase codning gene is used as reporter gene. An increased activity have been seen with increased amount of AP-1 binding sites.
Does anyone have experience with this kind of work (does not have to be several repeats of transcription factor binding sites)? Does anyone have any idea how this can be used for gene therapy approaches?
Regards
Ivana
