Which transfection reagents do you use (and recommend) to transfect Sf9 insect cells with bacmid DNA? In our lab we have been using GeneJuice (Merck), however the transfection efficiency seems rather low judged from low titer of initial viral stocks. Has aynone tried transfecting Sf9 cells using transfection reagents for mammalian cells (plasmid DNA)?
Any info on this would be appreaciated! Thanks!

most lipofectamin products must work for insect cells as well. i have tried GeneJuice before. its efficiency was lower than some other products.
