there's also a quite good movie made from Wilt...
and my wild guess is Cormac McCarthy's The Road

one of the more recent HP novels would also have been my guess Posted Image

Il dort. Quoique le sort fût pour lui bien étrange,
Il vivait. Il mourut quand il n'eut plus son ange;
La chose simplement d'elle-même arriva,
Comme la nuit se fait lorsque le jour s'en va.

only good at modern stuff. I'm awful, I don't read the classics :/
Here's a modern book, category of fantasy.

There is only one god and his name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: “Not today"

Oh... so easy!!!!!!!!!!

Game of Thrones. GRR Martin.

Serio says that to Araya when he's teaching her to water dance.
Does anyone here watch the series?

I'm out of quotes that are interesting... so I nominate Cass to have a go.

I read most of the books... can't finish the last one. it's a slog...
i think the series does much better with the plot than the books do. the whole iron islands stuff...Posted Image and dany spends a bit of time being a bamf, and then an annoying brat who thinks she has to marry to get anywhere. she has dragons for pete's sake. dragons.

ok, so V gives me this turn :D since I've never read a HP book completely and never even seen/touched a Games Of Throne book and some other modern novels..... I'm gonna go back to the classics here....18th century, not english...I think quite easy:

That which is not worth saying is sung.
"Oh what a beauteousness!"

to me it sounds french.
familiar too.
but... i think its from an opera. and i've got the impression it must be from a comedy, which would suggest mozart. but, i don't remember if he wrote those words, or if its based off someone elses work.
