Halo all,

I wondered what "resisolated" means.
See this piece of text from a paper I am reading:

Other examples are the aforementioned Salmonella mutant VNP20009 (ΔpurI ΔmsbB), which induces only diminished levels of TNF- α or the strain A1-R, that was
rendered auxotrophic for leucine and arginine and resisolated from tumors.

  Ok, thats what I was thinking.
But I found the word again in a few other sentences on the web, so I got confused. I guess it is indeed just a typo.

Just had a look at the google results. They are typos too. And "reisolate" makes perfect sense judging by the context of the sentence above.

The Oxford English Dictionary also  doesn't have any entries for resisolated, so I would think typo too.

And a second question: does it contain "science words" ? I mean, specific terminology, I can imagine its not in it?

No, it isn't free, but my university has a subscription which I can access through the library.  It does contain many scientific words, but I am not sure of the criteria for addition of them to the dictionary.

Ok.
I guess some scientific words will be in it, but not the really specific ones.
