I am planing to analyse trophoblast microparticles generated by oxidative stress. Which kind of fluorescent dye should I use to check if such particles contain ROS? I guess that dyes as dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate that requires activation by esterases cannot be used are not suitable since microparticles are cellular fragments. Has anyone experience on this topic??

I wonder if a lipid peroxidation kit could be adapted, though in microplate format.
