Hi I use Epitect Bisulfite Kit , I have added ethanol to buffer BL by mistake.
ı decided to incubate buffer BL at 77 celsius to let ethanol evoparate. Is can destroy the buffer composition?
do you have any other idea to save optimized buffer.
1000 thanks
nini

I don't think you can evaporate all the ethanol. You should ask Qiagen to replace the buffer. They also sell buffers separately.

Small fraction of alcohol may remain after boiling.
for room temp studies-

You can try take 100ul pure alcohol and 100ul water mix and boil. see if you get 100ul left

Have heard that someone got more recovery by adding extra alcohol in the BL, but I did not try it, so maybe you can try.
