Hi, I want to observe some small proteins (MW=15 to 25kD) on SDS-PAGE. These are multipule proteins. Do you have recommendations how I can make them stains better, or seperate better to observe?

Thanks a lot!

High percent gel is the primary thing you should use.  Long gels will help with the separation too.

you can use a tris-tricine sds gel. it gives great resolution of low molecular weight proteins.

you can use colloidal coomassie to get a more intense stain. you can silver stain (it's 50-100x more sensitive than coomassie).
