some have a rate of "excellence" but were I have to klick if I regard an answer as excellent?

Click the "Like this" button that appears in the post, for me this is on the right hand side of the window, but this may vary according to the skin you are using.

Yeah, and I guess it's the number of likes you got so far that makes the difference between a neutral, good or excellent record- right ?

It seems you can rate a topic with stars (on top left in my screen), but not a post/response (you either "like it" or leave it alone).

 

As you accumulate more likes, you get that green counter thingy rolling with neutral to good to excellent.


So. Now that you have your first ever question on bioforum answered (or not), mail yourself your username and password so you don't forget them, and then come back soon to update us on how it all worked out. That's how you build Karma in science.
