Hi everyone,

I would like to ask if my sample was added with a little amount of chloroform (well-known that chloroform built from chloride ion), is it the chloroform will affect the result of sds?

I think yes it would interfere with your results, once I tired running the samples that contained ethyl acetate, I did not get any bands. Probably because solvents are lighter then water and also they don't mix with buffer
