I am planing to differentiate human monocytes into macrophages by M-CSF. While doing flow cytometry, I want to exclude DCs from macrophages to get a pure macrophage population. I am wandering which CD markers can be used to differentiate macrophages from DC? Does anyone has any experiences of expression of CD124, CD54 on DCs? I guess, CD54 and CD124 express on macrophages, not on DC.

Here, check this out first:
http://www.pathology.../cdmarkers.html

CD54 is very broad according to this page, but CD124 has not been found on DCs.

Check CD205 and CD206 also. Apparently they are unique to DCs
