Hi
I am treating cultured cells with isoproterenol to increase cAMP levels. However, I have never done this before and there are no previous reports for this work in my cell line (Girardi heart).
I added isoproterenol (concentrations 100nM and 10nM) to my cells today for 10 min at 37 degrees C. Most of the cells detached from the culture dish after this period of time! I am not sure if this is normal when treating with isoproterenol or whether I should be using lower concentrations for shorter incubation times. Are those detached cells still usable?
Does anyone have a protocol for this kind of work that they are willing to share?
isoproterenol detached cells!
