Hi,
I have extracted protein from wheat grains by Tris-Acetic acid-2 Mercapto etanol. but the problem is that before Precipitation with Acetone, i added sample buffer for SDS-PAGE.
I am wondering whether i could do Acetone Precipitation while there is sample buffer or not?
please give me some advice.

Buffering action will decrease or neutralize the acetone. So depends to what extent it decrease or neutralize the acetone.
