At the risk of being redundant from my previous post....
Does anyone work with Mono-Mac-1 cells? If not, how about the sister cell line Mono-Mac 6? I need to differentiate the cells into MDMs. What should I use to do that? I see in the literature people either use LPS or PMA, although not that many people seem to work with this. What about IFN-gamma? I know that's used for other cell lines, like U937.

Hello
I have not worked with the cell line you are working with, but with THP1 monocytes I have previously got differentiation to macrophages within 3 days of incubation with 1uM PMA. Hope this is helpfull. Sorry if it does not answer your question.
