I've sorted 293T cells for GFP positive (remember this is an adherent cell line). I used BD FACS Aria Ilu. The cells were very beautiful before the sorting and I got 92% of positive cells. Cells were supposed to adhere to the plate into 2 hours approximately. But after 24h in culture the cells were in suspension instead. Who knows tell me what is happening? Can I use theses cells? Can I use poly D-lysine to help the cell to adhere the plate?

yes, poly D-lysine is a good option. in which medium do you sort? did you check viability of your sorted cells (e.g. trypan blue)?
