I am working on transfecting a few different siRNA into sf9 cells. I am wondering if anyone else has ever done this and what transfection reagent works best for you? I am going to be using TransMessenger Transfection Reagent from Qiagen, but would love to get input on other products that might be better than the one I am using.
Thank you,
Mai

I've had good success with RNAiMax from Life Technologies/Invitrogen.

Thank you bob1 for the tip. You used RNAiMax for sf9 cells right? What were your transfection efficiency? I will look into it and try.

No, I didn't use it for SF9 cells, but it shouldn't make too much difference. I have used it in about 10 different immortal cell lines though. I didn't make any direct measurement of the transfection efficiency but was able to see 90+% KD of the RNA and a similar level of the protein.
