OK I know Im new to this game but Im having real problems getting the info I want and spent the last 10 days going round in cycles.

Im using Northern blotting to detect and quanitify COX2, HGF and Prostaglandin E2.

Ive found the sequences to COX2 and HGF, but struggle to find PGE2. Is there other methods for finding these? other than PUBMED.com.

Now I have these I have to design probes for ECL labelling, but dont know where to start..any help would be greatful....thank you

Go to the NCBI or EBI sites, then onto nucleotide, NOT pubmed to search for your gene. Other possibilities are OMIM etc. Otherwise, try google if you're desperate!
