Hi,

from my experimental gene list, I find quite a number of genes which have predicted binding sites (analyzed with RSAT matrix scan tool) for two TFs in which I am particularly interested. Moreover, most of the time these binding sites are quite close together (ranging from a few bases up to about 700 bp).

So now I would like to know if this observation is statistically significant, but I don't really have an idea how to do this.

Hope somebody can help me with this.
