Hello,

I am trying to do In vitro transcription/translation using reticulocyte lysate. Do you know if the protein produced using this method can be used for treating/culture with cells. I want the protein to enter the cells. Is it possible or has anyone around tried it??

If you have a tag, like His-tag on the translated protein, I would do a quick purification using a bit of Ni-NTA beads (or whatever appropriate according to tag). Followed by a desalting on a concentrator column to get rid of the imidazole. And then filter sterilize the outcome to be sure you are not contaminating your cells.
