I am going to some western blotting of caspases/PARP. Is anyone who has experiences on this is willing to share some experience with me? The very first question will be: what antibodies from what vendor are good for this?

try Santa Cruz Biotech...I have used one of their antibodies.

which species are you trying to look at?

I've always got good results with Cell Signalling Technology.  They are more expensive than other companies. Try Cell Signal Technology. These worked well on extracts from human cells and prepared tissue.  Also these Ab's work better on PVDF membrane for blotting.
