Hi

I'm trying to induce rat mesenchymal stem cells to differentiate into adipocytes. The protocol I have in hand mentions indomethacin in the DMEM medium. However, indomethacin powder is the only thing I have and it does not dissolve in DMEM nor PBS. any ideas?

Thanks!

Try DMSO or DMF (di methyl formamide).  The product sheet should tell you the solubility in different solutions.

DMSO works like a charm. Thanks Bob.
