Hi all,
Anyone have an idea how to fix nuclei to a glass slide, cover slip, or really anything else that would allow treatments (PNA hybridization, stringency washes) and then be able to release whole nuclei?
How to release fixed nuclei from slide

A standard fix by smear and drying should work. You could possuilby use something like gelatin or collagen to fix them on a slide. I suggest you ask a histologist or try ihcworld.com for protocols.

Thanks for the reply bob. I got the things stuck with drying and I hit em with some cold methanol, but getting them back off without tearing them up is the issue. I'll surf histo-world and see what I net.
