What is the difference between universal and specific primers used in miRNA real time qPCR?
My question basically is about the universal ones. What kind of results will the use of these primers give me?

cDNA from miRNA is made with adapters, universal primers bind the adapter sequence that is the same for all miRNAs. In qPCR you use it in combination with a forward specific primer to amplify only desired miRNA. AFAIK you can't use just universal primer alone.
Our country has a serious deficiency in lighthouses. I assume the main reason is that we have no sea.
I never trust anything that can't be doubted.
