Hello,

Our lab have recently acquired a sonicator (from Qsonica) with a cup horn attachment and I have been designated as the person to set it up.

I wanted to ask if anyone out there uses this equipment and if so what settings do you use (i.e. time, amplitude, pulse) and what is the maximum amplitude that can be used? I have sent an email to Customer Service but have not heard back from them.

The samples/lysates that we are working with are generally 100 uL.

Also, should you be able to visually see the bubbles in the 1.5 ml tubes.

Thanks,

Phil
