I am following the Current Protocols in Molecular Biology to make competent cells with the CaCl2 method. To prepare the CaCl2 solution they use PIPES as a pH buffer. Do someone know if I could use MOPS instead of PIPES for this application?
Thanks!!
Can I use MOPS buffer instead of PIPES in bacteria cells?
