hi

i am maintaining plant suspension culture to study about biotic stress, i want know how to identify bacterial contamination in suspension culture, because suspension culture is also whitish colour and its turbid so its very difficult to identify,

Can anybody suggest some experiment or technique to identify bacterial contamination in  plant suspension cells, without loosing the viability of suspension cells

You should be able to pellet the cells and look (microscope) for the presence of bacteria in the supernate.
