In my old lab, we used to leave it on the whole day. The first user did the startup and the last one did the shutdown. In the current lab, each user does startup and shutdown. I am wondering which is better. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance Posted Image

I think better not switch on and off. I worked with FACS Canto II. The technician switched it on in the morning and switched off in the evening. There was no on and off in between. Moreover, it takes time to load  each time you turn it on. Initiation takes at least 5 minutes.
